I usually don’t do reviews but in this case I felt I must . A couple weeks ago I was traveling from New York down to Virginia and I I knew that I needed three batteries. I purchased two batteries before I left but no one up here had time to put them in so I figured once I got to Virginia I would just have somebody put them in or maybe do it myself but I stayed at a campground just down the road from liberty RV I got in there at night time so they were already closed so the next morning before I got on the road I stop by just to ask them if they could possibly install the two batteries that I had already bought and I would buy the third one from them well come to find out I got sold the wrong batteries up here in Syracuse so they sold me three batteries for the same price that I bought two batteries up here for and they had them installed in about 15 minutes I can’t say enough about the service that they provided for me I will definitely be stopping by there again so if any of you campers are around the area of Gettysburg and you’re in need of any thing with your RV I highly recommend giving these guys a shot everyone in there was so very helpful and friendly it was unbelievable. - Mark
Liberty RV maintains Mission of Mercy two Mobile motor homes. Because of their dedication to service, we are able to provide medical and dental to the less fortunate. We have never missed a day due to mechanical issues. A class act from the front office to the service center.

Liberty RV is just fantastic. The staff is very professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. After our motor home was damaged due to a power surge, I took it to them to see if it could be repaired. After inspecting the damage, they diagnosed the problems and immediately began working on it. They kept me updated on the progress of the repairs and worked with my insurance company. Everything was repaired in a few weeks and we are back on the road again. They are the number one RV repair company in the Gettysburg area. They will always have my business. Thank you for a job well done. - David
I can’t say enough about the experience we had with liberty RV. We were staying at a local RV resort when we had an issue That prevented us from driving our RV. We are not from the area so as you can imagine it was a scary feeling. We contacted the place that we purchased our RV and they said they would get back to us. In the meantime I remembered seeing the sign of liberty RV during our trip. I thought we should just try to call them to see if they could assist. To our surprise they came over within 15 minutes of our call. They resolved our issue in another 15 minutes and explained what we needed to do if it happened in the future. It was unbelievable. We have been camping for many many years and have never experienced this type of service and courtesy from someplace that we never dealt with before. From that point on we have been dealing with liberty RV. We drive over two hours to get here and it’s worth the trip. There is a mechanic by the name of Bear who works there who’s knowledge went beyond our expectations. He was kind to Us and explained in detail exactly what he was doing and showed my husband tips in case it happens again in the future. By the way we never heard back from the place that we bought our RV until approximately 10 hours later to tell us they could not help so we’re done with them. Going forward the only place we will take our RV to that we trust completely is liberty RV. Great service combined with very reasonable prices Not to mention the friendly staff. have told my friends and I will continue be a glowing advocate for liberty RV. - Terri
My husband and I were visiting the Gettysburg battlefield and we suffered a brake system failure late in the afternoon on a Wednesday. We searched for a local dealership and called to see if they could help us. Despite the hour, they told us to bring our RV to their shop, did a free initial diagnostic and suggested we return in the morning for a more thorough inspection and potential repair. At 9 am the next day we returned and they got us into the maintenance bay in less than 10 minutes. After looking things over they discovered that both front brake calipers and pads were completely shot and needed replacement. They showed us exactly what they found and what needed to be replaced. They immediately ordered the parts from NAPA, asked for expedited delivery, repaired the damage and got us back on the road in 5 1/2 hours. The total cost, including parts and labor was approximately $1,000. Considering the damage, and the effort involved my husband felt the price was reasonable and the knowledge level and customer service were top notch. Fortunately, for us, the shop was lightly loaded and the parts were available in the local area, but I do believe they would have done their utmost to help us. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone who needs help with RV repairs that require professional intervention. - Jeanne
Went to look at a used rv on consignment. Andy was very friendly and up front with us. We had a ways to drive and he gave very accurate descriptions of the coach before we went to look at it. Andy was very professional and honest with us. Something you don’t always find in rv sales. - Karen
We drove 200 miles as they are the nearest dealer that handles the trailer we wanted to look at. They have a good selection of units. We spoke to Andy as we checked out the trailer we were interested in. He seemed knowledgeable and interested in answering our questions. I don't know if we are going to purchase the trailer we looked at, but if we do, would definitely come back here to make the deal. - James
Everyone who has ever bought a car, boat, or RV knows the importance of good service work. It also becomes clear to everyone that many times the dealership falls very short in this field. Sell it and forget it is their attitude. I can personally say that is not the case with Liberty RV of Gettysburg. We took delivery of our RV in December so there were some systems (water) that could not be checked. Well, when turning on the water for the first time I had some problems. The dealer is right down the road from my camp site, so I stopped down there and spoke to my salesperson Andy Fritz. He listened to me, and he told me the Techs were busy, so he would go to my campsite and check it out himself. Long story short here, he fixed everything and did a couple extra for me to get my new RV ready for our use. You don’t get this type of service very often, so when you do you know this is the place to buy your next RV. If you are looking, talk to Andy. It was a fun experience buying our new travel trailer at Liberty RV. All the personnel were outstanding to deal with and they made everything so easy. Great prices and great people! We’ll go back again for sure. I should mention…we drove nearly 550 miles to buy our trailer from them! - Judy
We are new to the camper lifestyle and while at Gettysburg we lost ac on our older camper. The staff at Liberty RV were the best customer service I've seen in years. JR there on road tech is without a doubt amazing, He had us fixed and even took time to show us some pointers with first time campers. Very pleased to have found this place on a luck shot.
